IV therapy is not recommended if you have; a history of congestive heart failure, a history of kidney failure, or an allergy to any of the medications or supplements in the IV solution.  

Risks: Side effects do not occur often. Most risks are associated with the IV catheter insertion itself such as discomfort, itching, bruising and rarely infection at the insertion site. Dizziness, light headedness, headaches, and muscle cramps have been reported. Fluid overload (too much fluid flowing rapidly) may be dangerous to individuals with certain medical conditions which is why it is important to disclose to our medical staff all health history prior to treatment.
